No, I don't get how my brain works, either.

This week, the new Pirates of the Caribbean is being released.

Two weeks from now, My Super Ex-Girlfriend is being released, starring Uma Thurman, who was in the Kill Bill movies.

You know what this means.

We'll finally figure out who will win in a fight, pirates or ninjas. (Call me crazy, but I think the pirates have the better odds.)

In other I'm-supposed-to-be-writing-damn-it news, the 30 Seconds Bunnies did Superman and Bryan Singer is one of the voices. Now that's kind of awesome.

Okay, fine, I'll go write. After I spend twenty minutes in the ballroom dancing around like a goofball. (Hell, anything beats being at work tonight.)

Since I got off work yesterday at four in the morning, I've slept twenty-four hours. I know I tend to hibernate on my first day off after my shift, but SHEESH. My shift's not even over, for crying out loud, and I only worked for two days. The hell?!

Random notes to seven print-on-demand authors. I think you meant "assuage", not "ass gauge". *dies a little inside*

If Fellini's "8 1/2" were released today. Heh. Ain't that the truth.

The top ten wine movies. I know nothing about wine other than that I don't like the taste of it, but I've got to love an article that not only includes French Kiss (I don't get to tell annoying people they're making my ass twitch quite enough in real life), but also debates what would make a better wine pairing with a human liver than Chianti. *snickers*

Advocates push for simpler 'spelling' -- Oh, my God, my eyes hurt SO MUCH from trying to read that.

I've written 2,500 words today, I'm thiiiiis close to finishing this goofy story, and I have to leave for work. DAMN IT.

EDIT: And a meme, because it'll give me something to look forward to when I get home from work tomorrow morning ...

There's a bunch of fic-based memes around. How did you pick the title, why did you start with that first line, what happens after the story ends, etc. If you like, pick a story of mine and ask me any one of those questions, from the ones I just listed or any others you can think of.
