Excuse me, I have to go build an interdimensional traveling device, since apparently sometime when I was at work I accidentally walked into a world exactly like ours except that this 9/11 "tribute" shown during the RNC would have been scrapped as soon as it was suggested for being completely fucking repugnant. (Don't watch it if you're sensitive to those images. Seriously. UGH.)

Now that I think about it, tell me there's a fic out there somewhere where Jayne takes up knitting. And if not, one of you who knits should write it for me for my birthday. Mmm-hmm.

EDIT: I'm rewatching this week's Project Runway. Leanne is so freaking adorable. That bit where she does that thing that one time? She looks like a little girl playing and I kinda love her bunches.

I just spent most of the day curled up on my couch reading Hero by Perry Moore.

That was awesome. Both the book, and the curling up with one for a whole day, which I haven't done in far too long. Also, it made me cry really, really hard. Also also, I'm so asking for Hero slash for Yuletide. Mmm-hmm.

I'm debating whether or not to donate it to the local library. On one hand, I'm already bringing them Phyllida and the Brotherhood of Philander because God knows they're not going to order this stuff themselves. On the other hand, I really like this one.
