My brother just posted a photo of one of the cats asleep on his bed to his Facebook account with the caption, "Woke up with the worst hangover ever and this in my arms."

I responded, "That sounds like the worst one-night stand ever."

Apparently the plan for Christmas night is for all of us to go to my cousin's house in our PJs and eat takeout Chinese while watching the Christmas Story marathon.

I feel like this more than makes up for New Year's Eve, which I'll apparently be spending alone at home in the company of the menagerie and a six-pack of Smirnoff after getting off a fifteen-hour work day.
