I'm not going to cry ... yet.

My Zen just died.

*whimpers*

You don't understand. I can live without a cell phone, but I am NEVER without an MP3 player. And not only is the damn thing dead, it's taken all of my music with it.

*starts going through withdrawal*

oh poor you. i know the feeling- i lose mine twice a day. can i suggest radio till you find it?
an mp3 player is a part of me - i can't breathe properly if i don't know where it is....
i'm keeping my fingers crossed that you find it fast...

Oooh, nightmare. I love my teeny tiny 20GB Archos Gmini so much I'd probably cry if it died.

Ah I am sorry. I don't have one, and want one very badly.

Hugs you.

I am soo sorry!! Dude that just... blows serious chunks.

Umm... could you try some radio stations online? I listen to KUFX and KITS (San Jose and San Francisco). KUFX (kfox) is classic rock (yes folks, what Sammy would call Mullet Rock, tyvm) and KITS is Alternative music.
http://www.live105.com/ (KITS) They even play Breaking Benjamin....

Oh but I do understand and feel your pain!
My old mp3 USB conection stopped working so I couldn't upload new songs and I didn't rest until I got a new one - that doesn't leave my side ever.

Oh noes. That's horrible. I think I'd go crazy without mine - at least I have a lot of music on the hard drive, but still.

I'll burn some music to disks for you and send them when I send the Doctor Who disks. Now that you've got a computer with a DVD drive, I can include a lot more. :)

Oh, poor BABY! I'd seriously DIE without my iPod. And even the mini disc player before that, it was HUGE and could only play like 20 songs per disc but I LOVED IT TO DEATH! I wish you a resurrection or a new one ASAP *hugs*

[identity profile] gamiila.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 08:41 pm (UTC)(link)
That...sucks. But...I'm presuming you still have your PC Library in Creative Mediasource Organizer? So all you need now is a new Zen to copy it to?

[identity profile] okelle.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 08:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh, my dear. I feel your pain :(

[identity profile] a-hollow-year.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Since the Zen player just has a laptop hard drive in it, there may be ways to get your music off it if you know hardware people. Don't hold me to that, though. (I just replaced the hard drive when I dropped mine - stupid doggies!)

That's terrible, I don't know what I'd do if I lost my music. Is there anything I can help you replace?

[identity profile] your-hero-died.livejournal.com 2006-08-17 10:46 pm (UTC)(link)
honey, I know exactly how you feel.

Yesterday my ipod decided to wipe all of my music, and refuse to load any back on. It now needs to be sent away ... and there are very few times that I'm without it either.

Without music, life is just...

bland.
