The cat has gastroenteritis and is dehydrated, not to mention he's also lost a pound and half since his last visit three weeks ago. Also, he has to stay at the vet's tonight. Oh, and his teeth are so inflamed and nasty that the vet took one look in his mouth, jumped backward, and said almost in awe, "Did you see in his mouth?!"

In unrelated yet equally craptastic news, I just got my period while I was at it.
