I hope it's not wrong because if so I really don't want to be right. :)
You know what my problem's been with the Paire shippers? It's that for the most part, whenever I've told a Paire shipper that I think Nathan is Claire's bio-dad, they WILL NOT HEAR IT. No matter that one of her parents had to be one of the other characters based on the way that they were connecting everyone together, no matter that the only female in the group who could be her mother is Niki and that's only if we were REALLY pushing it, no matter that when you take all of the male characters that we know of and cancel candidates out by race and age Nathan is the only realistic option. It was practically common sense from a storytelling point of view that he be her father.
The thing is that the typical Paire shipper that I've seen is anti-slash, anti-incest, anti-anything that's not some sweet het love story (regardless of the age difference or that in a lot of stories I've seen Peter carries on a sexual relationship while she's still underage and it's supposed to be all romantic). And that's not a bad thing to like ships like that, but it's called morbid amusement, y'all. HEEEE. :)
