I work in a pharmacy, so I get to see the worst of children's behaviour (not counting the sick kids, because no-one's at their best when they're sick). I've worked here for 9 years or so, which means I've got to see the little brats grow up into horrific binge-drinking, animal-mutilating, car-crashing, drug-taking, runaway teenagers. I'm less distressed by lame parents letting their kids run around now, because it's very, very clear that they will reap what they sow. And then they have to pay for the damages.
