Something that always make me giggle.

Sam Winchester scored a 174 on the LSATs.

Elle Woods scored a 179.

Highest is a 180. Very, VERY few folks get a 179. (Hence all my law school friends saying Elle's score is unrealistic.)

Ahh, interesting. I don't think i ever took a test with a three-number score. Heh. But man, i remember taking so *man* of those stupid standard tests. Wonder what in hell they were?

Yeah, if 180 is perfect, that's pretty damn high. I wonder what the average is?

179 is indeed very, very high. I think the distribution curve of scores centers around 150. 170 and above is about the top 2% of scores- at that point GPA and other factors start counting more. Admission to the top schools is kind of a crapshoot- even a 179 doesn't guarantee you anything, especially at the Yale/Harvard/Stanford level.
