I'm doubting Nathan's dead. Partly because of all the characters they can afford to lose, I really don't think he's one of them. But mostly, NAHHH. it doesn't fit. At least, I doubt he's permanetly dead. Everything happened too fast for that. I'm thinking if Nathan *IS* dead, then it's possibly an engine to get a very po'd Kensei out of his little coffin. On the off chance Peter hasn't absorbed that ability (though, really, I think he has. He's gotten it twice over now. Claire and Kensei) then he'll be all *OMG MUST FIND CLAIRE* and if HRG's got her hidden away, he'll be all "OMG HIRO TELL ME WHEREEEEEEEEEEEEEE..."

But I like this "they totally planned it" theory. Matt *SO* did the thinky face. They made a point of focusing on his thinky face. Which makes me wonder what the boys are really up to. (Um, maybe I like this one so much because I love the idea of Rebel!Leader Nathan and Matt & Peter as his lieutenants. *G* Cause, um, *WIBBLE*) Luff the plan.

Besides, after last season and Matt getting shot like that...it'd be kinda lame if that's how Nathan bites it.
