And a shiny and happy good morning to you, too.

Ah, nothing like starting my four-day weekend by hearing one of my best friends, an avowed Republican, refer to my personal favorite presidential candidate as "Hussein Obama."

*sigh*

The fail, it attacks Tokyo.

My uncle, who really is a decent guy, called me up the other weekend to tell me all about how it's "all over the internet" that Obama is bisexual and was involved in the murder of a male ex-lover, and the McCain campaign knows all about it and they're just waiting till the primaries are over to give it to the media.

(...Where do you even start, right?)

Though my uncle and his wife also have a picture of a young George W. Bush in a flight suit hanging in their bathroom, so I guess it could be worse.

I was ordering food at work the one night and had to use one of the phones in the office cubicles. I was halfway through the call when I realized that taped up on the cubicle wall next to one another were two pictures, one of Bush and one of Jesus.

I honestly had to stop ordering specifically to laugh.

Back in 2004, the Sunday after the Doomsday, I let Dad convince me to go to church with him. (Still have no clue why, but whatever.)

The sermon had NOTHING to do with the Bible. It was all "Election this" and "Christ has spoken" and "Thank Jesus for Bush."

~_~;;

Yeah, we didn't really need that "separation of church and state."

The existence of any pictures of humans in the bathroom weird me out
