Tell me something awesome about a woman you love in any fandom. Wax poetic. I want to hear people talk about what they love about female characters. And try to pick female characters or women in RPF who haven't already gotten love so we can spread it around.

You know what? I'm picking Boo. Yeah, okay, she's a very tiny woman. Who cares? She's silly and fun and adorable, and looking at an icon of her always makes me feel better, and she learns how to be brave right before our eyes. I heart that so much that I really wish I had the time to rewatch Monsters Inc. before I leave for work, but I don't, damn it.

Pepper from Good Omens. And Anathema too, for that matter.

Pepper because she is who she wants to be. She's jsut a little girl but she's so strong! And friends with the Anti-christ!

Anathema because she's upfront about what she is. A witch and why should she be ashamed of that? And she's SMART.

Mary from Secret Garden. Even though she was told to not snoop around, whatever. Big house in the middle of nowhere? I'm gonna snoop too.

Elizabeth from POTC. Because come ON. What she was in the first movie compared to the third? She has come SO FAR. She's a badass chick pirate. Ana Maria too. I kinda missed her when she left after the first movie.

Chloe Sullivan from Smallville. She's smart, she's stubborn, she's never really let her feelings for Clark mess her up (except when Kryptonite has been involved). And she's so awsome they're writing her into the comics.

And Sharon Agathon. I don't know what the fandom opinion on her is but I adore her. She was brought in to test Helo and fell in love with him. She put up with his bad reaction to finding out and even told him to "Shut up and listen for once". She was almost raped (and in an aleternate cut, actually WAS raped) and beaten. She had her husband SHOOT HER just so she could go get their baby back. She put up with so much crap to earn her place back into the cockpit. Athena is a very fitting call sign for her.
