Yummy.

Note: I don't actually want you to do this. If there's one thing I hate about memes, it's, "Now you do this! And tell all your friends so they'll do it! And make your grandma do it even though she has no computer! Can your cat type? Why doesn't he take this quiz, too?!"

But it's a food list, so that's right up my alley.

Here’s what I want you to do:

1) Copy this list into your blog or journal, including these instructions.
2) Bold all the items you’ve eaten.
3) Cross out any items that you would never consider eating.
4) Optional extra: Post a comment here at www.verygoodtaste.co.uk linking to your results.

The VGT Omnivore’s Hundred:

1. Venison -- Odd, considering I live in PA, my grandpa and uncle hunt all the time, and it's everywhere around here.
2. Nettle tea

12. Pho
13. PB&J sandwich -- I'm not really big on jelly but I've tried it before. Oh, and I tried the PB&J smoothie at Sheetz this week. It's grotesque. It might be yummy if the peanut were less OH HI HERE I AM WHEEEE, but it's not and it's disgusting.
14. Aloo gobi
15. Hot dog from a street cart -- God, yes. I love street food.
16. Epoisses
17. Black truffle
18. Fruit wine made from something other than grapes
19. Steamed pork buns

22. Fresh wild berries
23. Foie gras
24. Rice and beans
25. Brawn, or head cheese

29. Baklava
30. Bagna cauda
31. Wasabi peas
32. Clam chowder in a sourdough bowl -- MMMMMMM.
33. Salted lassi
34. Sauerkraut -- I suppose this doesn't count either, since I tried it as a kid and wanted to throw up so I've never eaten it since.
35. Root beer float -- Oh, why didn't I buy root beer when I was at the store before? Now I want that, too! :(
36. Cognac with a fat cigar -- Not big on cognac, and I don't think smoking a cigar would make my stomach feel any better about that.
37. Clotted cream tea
38. Vodka jelly/Jell-O -- Jello shots, YAY! :)
39. Gumbo -- Oh, Cajun food. SO my favorite.

45. Malt whisky from a bottle worth £60/$120 or more
46. Fugu
47. Chicken tikka masala

49. Krispy Kreme original glazed doughnut -- Just one? Aren't you supposed to eat the whole box in one sitting? Or am I doing that wrong?
50. Sea urchin
51. Prickly pear
52. Umeboshi
53. Abalone
54. Paneer
55. McDonald’s Big Mac Meal -- Well, REALLY.
56. Spaetzle
57. Dirty gin martini

62. Sweetbreads
63. Kaolin
64. Currywurst
65. Durian

69. Fried plantain
70. Chitterlings, or andouillette
71. Gazpacho
72. Caviar and blini
73. Louche absinthe
74. Gjetost, or brunost
75. Roadkill -- What? EW.
76. Baijiu
77. Hostess Fruit Pie -- Oh, yes.
78. Snail
79. Lapsang souchong
80. Bellini
81. Tom yum
82. Eggs Benedict -- Once. My mom made it for me and my brother because he loves it. It was pretty good.

91. Spam
92. Soft shell crab -- Yummy!
93. Rose harissa
94. Catfish -- Yummy again!

97. Lobster Thermidor
98. Polenta
99. Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee -- I'd try it but honestly, I hate coffee. Some of you have seen me make the coffee face.
