Yeah, Varla Jean Merman. She's the bomb. She's done a couple movies, and has shown up on a soap ("All My Children," I think). She does shows in P-town all the time (total drag capitol of the world; it's out on Cape Cod; I'd love to go sometime), and my Jewish, gay, 55-year-old scientist coworker knows her a bit (actually, he'd met/somewhat knows many of the drag queens that were on last night's ep, but then, he knows EVERYBODY). This morning, when I walked into his lab, we had a total squealfest over last night's show.
