While you say this is the last you'll say about it, and I'll respect that, I have to at least make an attempt to argue certain things.

>I believe that in all the years that Obama was in Office, he voted "present" more than he ever took a side on any one issue.<

Many of the times Obama voted "present" were not because he wasn't taking a side, but because he could not in good faith simply say "yes." Sometimes they were bills that he would normally support, but he objected to provisions within the bill. It's a fairly normal thing to vote "present" in Illinois if there's objections you have to a bill you otherwise want to pass. You can call that the politician game if you wish, but it's hardly fence-straddling.

>Id really not rather have the whole abortion debate via LJ..suffice to say, it shouldnt be illegal, but late term abortion (IMO) is murder.<

Just commenting on this part because I'm not sure if you're saying that's why you're pro-(McCain/)Palin or anti-Obama. Because if it's the later, Obama is against late-term abortion as well, unless it's necessary because the woman's life is in danger.

>Again, this is just IMHO-- but I think I have a right to that opinion esp when I have gone out of my way to actually look up all of their voting records. I dont know too many other people that have done that. They are voting purely on "star power" or "race" or "gender"<

Can't argue with opinion, or with people you know personally. But I do have to say that many, if not most, people, in my personal experience, who support Obama, have done serious research into both candidates and could hardly be accused of voting for the reasons you listed. Please be careful of lumping us all together, thank you.
