the video is awesome, of course, but i'm pretty sure it's faked. the video part is taken from his speech at the TED talks - at the end, you can see the guy standing in the red dot with "TED" in big red letters.

The original video with Stephen Hawking is here - and while interesting, makes no mention of current politics.
