You know... I think that she has some valid points.
I mean, admittedly, there are plenty of reasons to dislike Palin and most of mine are in relation to her political views.
But she's not wrong that women are like that. It's sad, but true. I remember being so depressed when I realized that that attitude didn't actually get left behind when I graduated high school.
Me too! That vid does make up for reading that Time post. To excuse some public discontent over Sarah Palin because women are jealous mean girls is...is...GRRRRR!!!!
Riiiiiight. Most women hate Sarah Palin because she is just so pretty and popular and OMG she gets to hang out with all the coooooooool kids.
And then some of us are grown-ups and actually can't stand Palin for the fact that she is a MORON and, if she is elected, she will become the standard by which all women who aspire to that role will be judged.
But, hey, let's just yet again reduce the voice and opinions of women down to petty snarkiness about how another girl is "prettier" than they are. Because heaven knows that we don't get enough of that from men.
It makes me want to cry that women can be their own worst enemies sometimes.
the video is awesome, of course, but i'm pretty sure it's faked. the video part is taken from his speech at the TED talks - at the end, you can see the guy standing in the red dot with "TED" in big red letters.
The original video with Stephen Hawking is here - and while interesting, makes no mention of current politics.

That article put "the voice" in the same category as "the making rape victims pay for their own rape test kits"?
Please tell me it's just sarcasm I'm missing.

The catty bitches things makes me so furious. I'm not even coherent about all the ways I can't stand the McCain/Palin ticket any longer.
