God, I feel like crap. I've had one Smirnoff and while I don't feel officially drunk yet, I do feel a bit ... off. I can't decide whether that's good, bad, or just pathetic.

Somebody needs to tell the bands playing across the street at the town park to turn down the volume. Wish I could, but that's the fun of living in this town. *eye roll* They've got Spinal Tap amps. Even my cats are starting to vibrate.

Ugh. I think I need a nap. Or someone to bean me over the head with my laptop. (Yes, I'm the world's cheapest drunk. Why do you ask?)

That's okay. I'm fucking wasted too right now and i've just had two and a half glasses of wine and have started on the Polish vodka and cranberry and am being subjected to dodgy music from Glastonbury.

The worst part is, there's a bag of Cheetos sitting *right there* and my stomach keeps saying, "NO. You had alcohol, so now no orange food!"

Well, okay, the music's the worst part. Hard rock and punk-pop crap ... ugh. I suppose it could be worse, though -- 50 Cent, Jay Z, and a whole bunch of other half-assed rappers I can't stand are performing at the nearest arena, but at least I can't hear *that*.
