Dude!

I'm seriously leaning towards pricing a Siamese cat tattoo this weekend. Just a small one, right on my hip. I wanted to get one anyway, but I'd love to go home to my mom when I go to take my brother to the tattoo parlor and show her that I got the tattoo she was too chicken to get.

I'd rather get a Bucky tat than a more realistic one, though. Anybody know a good site for Bucky pics? (Or for that matter, a cute cartoon Siamese pic? Either one works for me.)

How about the one from 9 Chickweed Lane (the comic strip)? That's one fabulous cat! The feed is [livejournal.com profile] chickweed_comic Here's a link to a good sample:

Ask around in the LJ foxtrot_feed. (See user info).

If I was courageous enough to get a tat (and had the money), I'd maybe get one of Satchel

Keep in mind, tattoos are forever. Are you gonna want an ugly cranky little cat on your hip in twenty years?
(Not trying to discourage. I'm tattooed myself. Just making sure.)

what about the siamese cats from the aristocats?

My family has had Siamese cats ever since I was born, so getting a tattoo of one isn't something I'm debating. I happen to love the little critters.

As for Bucky, it's maybe about half that he's cartoony that I'd pick Bucky. The other half of the time, he reminds me and my family of my dad's Siamese, Rudy. We've had him forever and love him to bits, but he's got cancer and won't be around much longer.

If I could find a simple little drawing of a Siamese kitten with chubby Emmet-Otter cheeks, that'd be a definite keeper, 'cause that was Rudy when we first got him.

Or is that too much toxic cuteness?
