You said it!

Ya know, I've sat with friends who had to have abortions, held thier hands, then held them afterwards as they bawled and howled like thier very souls were being ripped to shreds and bawled and howled with them 'cause my heart broke for them and thier loss.. The staff and doc of the clinic we were at always took the time to comfort and soothe and man were they never in it for the money. These weren't late term abortions and these friends weren't "lazy" and doing it because they were irresponsible. They were doing it because there was no alternative and the baby was dead, dying or missing vital pieces that would make it's life brief, painful and inhumane. I've always gotten in the faces of "Christians" who would condem these women and the medical professionals who help them, 'cause they just piss me off to the point I see red. Dr. Tiller had a positive impact on women who otherwise may have died and spared them the heart breaking trauma of watching thier children live in horrible pain and suffering for however long they would have outside the womb. I miscarried 4 children, the last one because a religious hospital did not complete a sterilization, only "clamped" my tubes with sutures meant to disolve over time. I had no idea and when I miscarried, I was so heartbroken and distrught I wanted to choke the doc that did it. So, the religious nuts that claim Dr. Tiller & others like him are murders should be inflicted with the same sort of pain these women and thier families go thru. But then, I'm kinda vindictive that way. And my Christian Aunt wonders what happened that most people today want nothing to do with Christianity. Go figure.
