I'm sorry to hear about blanking, and especially about minotaurs. I have pretty much nothing to do with the slashy fandom (not in a fandom-y capacity, if you know what I mean - I love slash but I don't go to cons or the like), but it always sucks when we lose someone.

I don't know if it'll make you feel any better, but the Ghostbusters game is coming out in about 45 minutes and my ass is gonna be at Wal*Mart at the stroke of midnight to pick it up. I am not afraid of no ghosts (nor midnight Wal*Mart customers).
