I'm not supposed to have Mondays when I have no job.
Well, let's see:
-- I woke up this morning not only with that extra-special incredibly-sore-all-over feeling I get to have once a month, but my neck is still killing me because I slept on it wrong one night and now apparently I can't seem to sleep it back into the right spot or whatever. So basically I'm in all kinds of fun pain all over and really would just love to go take a nap and forget today ever happened, and it hasn't even really started yet. Urgh.
-- Thanks to feeling like crap last night, I didn't get the editing done that I wanted to.
-- I had to go and buy a cheap pair of earbuds from the dollar store because I lost the ones I got from my brother.
-- I deleted the bit of Heroine Addiction I didn't like so I can see if I can start on it again this week. Which sucks because, hell, it was half a page already, but it wasn't working, so away it went. *sigh*
-- The job listings on Hotjobs are horrendous today, so I can only imagine how lousy they'll be when I check out the ones in the newspaper at the cafe.
-- Still no Regency writer's guide in the mail. Which isn't a surprise but I can't flesh out my story more than in dribs and drabs because I haven't been reading nearly enough Regency romances lately so I can't even sketch things out without questioning every little note I take, so I usually just end up getting frustrated and going off to edit something else instead.
-- Still no phone calls from any employers. It's only ten-thirty, though, so maybe I'll luck out.
