Also, I can tell you haven't seen it, because you don't show the signs of the psychological scars it can inflict. *Still can't get Asuka's screaming out of my ears* Everyone in the series seems to have what I term "mommy issues", and the lead character has an interesting variation of an Oedipus complex. Lots of Judeo-Christian imagery and references (as well to other religions), lots of destruction/explosions, and giant mechs fighting against things called Angels (though not the kind most people are familiar with)...
