Repentance--basically, what it means is that, understanding what you did and how wrong it was, you turn away and head the opposite direction. Doesn't mean, "Sorry 'bout that, God, and here's an apology in advance for next time I do it." And forgiveness isn't, "That's okay." Forgiveness firstly recognizes the wrong done and that it's *not* okay--and then lets go, anyway.
