He not only threatened but he tried shoving her down that slide at least twice - once badly enough that she was crying for help. Granted, I as someone without a fear of water and heights, get that it must've been frustrating as hell for Canaan but dude - NOT COOL. It's like people who blame their racist comments on "I was drunk at the time." It's not bringing out anything that wasn't already in there.

Which doesn't mean that the trash talking wasn't rude. But - it's trash talking. They're ball players. And as you say, they didn't know how long she'd been freaking.
