Is it time for me to go back to bed yet?

Here's who's dancing what with whom:

Ryan & Ellenore - Argentine Tango - Miriam Larici & Leonardo Barrionuevo
Phillip & Channing - Samba - Tony Meredith & Melanie LaPatin
Victor & Bianca - Broadway - Tyce Diorio
Peter & Pauline - Jazz - Wade Robson
Legacy & Kathryn - Contemporary - Stacey Tookey
Nathan & Mollee - Bollywood - Nakul Dev Mahajan
Russell & Noelle - Hip Hop - NappyTabs or Jamal Sims
Kevin & Karen - Hip Hop - NappyTabs or Jamal Sims
Jakob & Ashleigh - Viennese Waltz - Tony Meredith & Melanie LaPatin

A few thoughts:

1. Ryan and Ellenore doing an Argentine tango?!

... I'll be in my bunk.

2. Phillip and Channing doing a samba? Yeah, okay, that won't be uncomfortable to watch.

3. I'm crossing my fingers for Peter and Pauline, partly because they both pretty much got dicked over last week in regards to their partners, and partly because it's Wade Robson and I can't see them staying if they fuck up a Wade Robson number.

4. Oh, goody, Noelle's dancing. *eyeroll* (I'm still irritated by last week, and I feel like she's bound to screw up her knee again by the end of the season and be out.)

5. The show is doing Mollee no favors by giving her dances where she gets to be her cutesy, bubbly self.

6. The only other pairing I'm hopeful for is Legacy and Kathryn, because they actually seemed to have a good connection last week. The rest seemed a bit awkward around one another.

The movie soundtracks channel keeps giving me Jewel singing "Sweet Home Alabama" from the soundtrack of the movie of the same title. Which, okay, it's not a completely horrible cover, but it's Jewel. Everybody and their dog knows she's from Alaska, and it distracts me every time I hear it.

The plan for today is to try and make a dent in as many chapters of Heroine Addiction as possible. I don't have anywhere to go or anything to do -- and no money to do it with anyway -- so it's just a matter of sitting at the computer and tapping away until I finish or my brain explodes, whichever comes first. God, I hope it's that first option.

I only have a few hundred words of the NaNo novel, but I'm going to whip out Write Or Die later on and try to get three thousand words or so out of the way so I'm at least on track with that. Or I may do it earlier as a break from Heroine Addiction, because it really did loosen me up pretty well yesterday, like stretching before running a marathon.

And I should probably call the temp agency and ask them about scheduling me to do something next week. Oh, my God, my life would be so much easier if this were just my job already. *headdesk*

You've never encountered the joy of Write Or Die And when I say joy, I mean pain. It's like having someone there to hit you over the head with a stick when you stop writing.
