Sunday night TV

-- I worry about Connor and Jonathan because they're incredibly friendly with the other teams, which could easily get them bitten in the ass just as much as it could get assistance in a crunch.

-- Brook is growing on me. She can get kind of loud, but she's so far shown a really bright personality, and she can be a straight shooter without being a downer, like when she put it to Claire last episode that she was going to have to finish that challenge even after getting hit with the watermelon.

-- You know what I've missed? Everybody pronouncing a destination's name incorrectly and then Phil correcting them in the voiceover.

-- It's just like Team Glee to learn their taxi driver's name. It's stuff like that that makes me forgive their singing bits. Well, that, and their singing is actually good.

-- You know, we always get people being awed by this sort of market, but Michael being like, "Yeah, we had this sort of market in Taiwan where I grew up" is sort of nice.

-- Oh, man, this really is so perfect for Brook.

-- This is the sort of thing you have to be bubbly and outgoing for.

-- Yay for Michael and Connor-or-Jonathan!

-- Okay, so I think I'm falling in love with Brook.

-- Aw, man, Michael and Kevin have terrible direction.

-- Don't get excited to be first until you're standing on the Amazing Bathmat, Brook and Claire! That's just asking for trouble.

-- I really adore those coffins. If I didn't want to be cremated when I die, I'd totally want one like that in the shape of a big book.

-- I love all of those people who are watching. They're getting one hell of a free show.

-- Yay for Brook and Claire!

-- Nick and Vicki managed to look a lot smarter than last episode. That's not saying much, but still.

-- OMG, Nat and Kat's cab driver is fantastic. And I love how they called Team Glee their little brothers. And I love that Team Glee was all :O and Nat and Kat were dying laughing in the third lane.

In order of finish:

Brook and Claire - What a great leg. They did well, they had a good attitude, and Brook showed just what a good saleswoman she is. They keep this up, and they and Connor and Jonathan will become my two favorite teams.

Katie and Rachel - Still not doing much for me in the way of personality, but they're competent and not irritating, so good for them.

Michael and Kevin - A great come from behind for those two. I do like them, but I really hope they get farther than I suspect they will.

Chad and Stephanie - Ugh. He leaves a thin layer of slime everywhere he goes, honestly.

Jill and Thomas -- Thomas is really starting to show the aggression and dickitude he supposedly showed in the pre-show interviews. (I admit I didn't get a chance to watch them.)

Connor and Jonathan -- God, how adorable are they? Honestly, I hope they never turn around and develop a bad attitude, because I would be absolutely heartbroken.

Nat and Kat -- Smart, adventurous, stubborn. A great team.

Nick and Vicki -- The one thing I will give them is that they've had a generally good attitude, especially for a team which made themselves look incredibly stupid last week.

Gary and Mallory -- Good for them. Mallory's great.

Andie and Jamie -- Awww. They seemed nice, and I'm glad they enjoyed the Race.

Two episodes in and only one slimebag. Pretty impressive, all things considered.

Next week: Nick fixes that "only one slimebag" thing, and Michael can't handle the heat. Uh, literally.
