See a queue, join it, *then* ask what it's for. Feel nervous if you go to a bus stop/ticket office etc and there is no queue.
You have the ability to die of shame on behalf of *someone else*. Dying of shame on your own behalf is nothing.
Ability to place someone's class and social standing in relation to you within 30 secs of them opening their mouth.
You apologise when someone else bumps into you in a crowd.
Feel most comfortable sartorially when there is a prescribed code of dress for a situation.
Inability to take the last biscuit without asking everyone else first.
Tales of murder, wife-beating and thievery are perfectly wholesome consumption for children as long as they're told using puppets at the seaside.
