Am now officially signed up for NaNoWriMo with The Walking Dead of Wilkes-Barre. Now, to get at least most of The Monsters of Minooka finished by the beginning of November.

If I seriously get two books finished by the end of the year, somebody shoot me, partly to keep me from injuring anyone in my excitement, and partly to put me out of my agonizing, dog-tired misery. Well, if I'm going to write, I'd better go do it now. *toddles off to work*

Oh, trust me, there'll be a whole series of these things if I work it right. I think I'm developing a severe case of "OMG, I totally know what I want to happen in Book Eighteen!"-itis with these characters. But God knows how I'll ever finish more than two by New Year's Day.

you have skill and you have the talent... And something else occurs to me. This write write write way of writing...it lends to some mistakes but, if you overwrite, then that gives you more room to breathe, and to edit later.

You can do the writing and then go back and rewrite. I think a good idea is write two months and spend downtime for two months with a trusted associate beta-ing and proofreading. That way, when all is said and done you will have a strreamlined idea of what should come next...
