Jonathan ... *sigh* How is it possible for every word that comes out of someone's mouth to be absolutely repellent? Although I will admit Jonathan amused me at one point in the episode. There they were, all standing there in Chicago waiting to leave, and Jonathan was bouncing up and down like an idiot. What amused me was that I kept expecting Phil to glare over at him and go, "Does somebody have to use the little boy's room before we start the reality show?"

John is hot. Aaron's not bad, either. Having said both of those things, there are waaaaay too many models.

Just for even doing the ice climb, Don and Mary Jean were awesome. :)

Iceland is GORGEOUS. Wow. (I'd almost be tempted to plan an imaginary future honeymoon there if I didn't hate the cold. ;))

Freddy looks like Seann William Scott in profile. That's actually a compliment, coming from me.

You know, I love Bolo, but Lori's pissing me off. All that "I-want-to-be-first" crap was driving me nuts. Dude, it's the first pit stop. Chill.

Adam's choice in haircuts and facial hair is more entertaining than his personality.

I'm leaning towards Hayden and Aaron as my favorites. Yes, she has the same name as the guy playing Anakin Skywalker, but he royally fucked up the girls from Queens. Hee. That bit made me giggle.

*snerk* I loved Jonathan and Victoria's raft driver. 'Cause seriously, that look on his face when they were screaming like idiots was fucking priceless.

Hee. Hayden and Aaron hugging Phil was adorable just for his reaction. "Oh, okay." *giggles*

Woohoo, Don and Mary Jean! The old couple rock. :)

Hmm. Meanwhile, tomorrow I tape the second part of Category 6: Day of Destruction for summarizing. I love Lost, but I've got enough practice going without to subsist on [livejournal.com profile] cleolinda's summary and TWoP. Yay, snarky disasters. :)

I believe my comment about Jonathan was "I want to stab him in the brain with a rusty spoon." But that could just be me being hormonally imbalanced. I've got one more hour left of the show (they're just leaving the glacier) and I'm sure I'm not going to get any warmer feelings about him.

Trust me--it's not just you.

If Jonathan was any more of a cock, he'd have gay guys sucking on his forehead.

I'm leaning towards Hayden and Aaron as my favorites.

I agree. At first I liked the two guys from NY, but then they had to go and lose. But, Hayden and Aaron are 1) Not yelling all over the place and acting like general asshole 2) Seem to have relative intelligence 3) Aaron doesn't seem to have control issues, like the other men. 4) I like Hayden's hair and her name.

Re snarky disasters...

I saw this comic strip the other day, and thought of you and [livejournal.com profile] dead_earth. :)

I like Hayden and Aaron too... they were competent and maintained an aura of calm that none of the other teams seemed to have.

Lori and Bolo are amusing, though she is a little too intense.

I liked Avi and Joe and was sad they left.

Best line of the show: My implants are frozen!

Avi was my high school chemistry teacher.

What a creepy man....

Seconded. I want the name of the person who told him he'd get ten extra bucks for every time he acted like a spastic toddler with Tourette's syndrome.

I like them, and Don and M.J., and the sisters (even if they get a bit sickeningly sweet at times), and Kris and John. So with my track record (Chip and Reichen being the only team I ever rooted for who actually won), let's see how long it's takes them to get kicked off. *sigh*

I thought it was cute when Hayden and Aaron were talking about Lori yelling at Bolo and calling him an idiot, and Aaron made a crack like, "Just drive, idiot," and she giggled. 'Cause, dude, that's how you're supposed to play.

This episode was a perfect example of what Phil was saying yesterday on Don & Mike. He said that unlike on other reality TV shows where you have to wait for the tension to develop, these people already know each other, so the tension's there from the get-go. Hee. How true.

Also, if I were Jonathan, I wouldn't worry about winning the money, I'd worry about someone creeping up on me in the night and bashing my brains out. Victoria hasn't got the most attractive personality on the planet, but even so, I kept saying, "What the hell does she see in him?" And you just know that if he knew we all loathed him, he'd be like, "Yay! Everybody's paying attention to me!" Asshole.

I just realized what a great Law & Order episode that would make. An annoying ass in the middle of the pack on a TAR-like TV show gets bumped off mid-race, and detectives have to figure out which team killed him. (Not like they could, since the teams would be mid-travel, and ooooo, now I want to see that episode.)

Best line of the show: My implants are frozen! I'm soooo making that into an icon!

Sounds like a rather enormous fanfic... maybe even a NaNo for next year :)

And me and [livejournal.com profile] kathih were saying that he is like ten times worse then Colin was last year because it took us three or four episodes to hate Colin and we hated this guy within the first three or four minutes.

I liked the sisters too - which surprised me.

And Don and MJ are pretty awesome. I don't think I'd have had the guts to climb that ice wall!

Tell me about it. The second he opened his mouth and spewed one of those arrogant business-class descriptions of himself, I was disgusted. (And did you notice he hardly ever referred to himself and Victoria as a team? It was always me, me, me. Blech.)
