I don't know -- it made more sense to me that he'd sleep with her than that she'd sleep with him at this point. I mean, Dean's a charge-in-guns-blazing kind of guy. He doesn't have months to sit around to get to know a girl before he can sleep with her, and he's not like Sam, whom I can definitely see having that sort of patience. I picture Sam and Jess's relationship spilling out over months as he patiently got to know her before they finally slept together. Dean doesn't sit still long enough for that, literally or figuratively. Considering that he usually leaves whichever town he's in within a few weeks, two weeks for him would have been like six months for Sam. Plus, he's all fire and passion to Sam's calm and reserve. I can totally see him sleeping with her, even now, particularly if she broke his heart and he was still in love with her. (Heck, he's had plenty of time to build their whole relationship up in his head into something bigger.)
What I don't get -- and I liked Cassie just fine -- was why she slept with him. I mean, okay, he's DEAN and who would toss THAT out of bed, but her dad died only a few days ago. Bwuh? (Although as consoling gestures go, that's a doozy.)
