Remember, kids, there's no such thing as global warming.

The fifty greatest comedies of all time, as presented by Premiere magazine.

And unlike Bravo, when they say "of all time," they don't mean "as long as you believe life started in 1960." I own about half of those on DVD, too. :) (That thing is like a gentle reminder of movies I still have to buy. Honestly, why the hell don't I own The 40-Year-Old Virgin yet?!)

I love it! Sure Modern Times should be there instead of The Gold Rush and The Lady Eve instead of the Miracle of Morgan's Creek, but the choices pre-1970 are very, VERY good. I can't believe they actually remembered Harold Lloyd! And put The Awful Truth on there!
Good magazine.

I need to renew my subscription to that magazine; it's got such good taste.

DUCK SOUP!

Oh man. How could they forget Animal Crackers. =/

Lack of One, Two, Three is only forgivable on account of it would've meant three Billy Wilder films in a row. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you.

And lots of points for including Rushmore.

they listed 'the general'. THEREFORE THEY ROCK.

Hmph. No "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels?" No "Office Space?" But they actually put in the brainless idiocy that was "There's Something About Mary?"

Spluh. They were on track until they hit the 80s, and then they went very much awry.

I'd replace There's Something About Mary with Raising Arizona. I'm also surprised they included Zoolander, which actually depresses the hell out of me when I watch it.

Just one quibble, where the hell is The Court Jester with Danny Kaye?
