It's sad that this is what makes me go through withdrawal.

I'm buying an iPod Nano tomorrow.

I don't care if I can't afford it.

... well, okay, maybe I do care if I can't afford it, but I'm still getting it.

EDIT: I'm thinking this is more of a "I'm not expecting to get anything for my birthday so I'll just buy myself something" present than anything else, and yet ... not really caring.

\o/ for iPod nanos! I totally bit myself in the ass this morning when I found out they now have them in 8GB and PINK. But it's still an awesome mp3 player!

Well, I'm just hoping I'm wrong and my parents will end up tossing me some birthday money my way. I should be able to pull off buying the Nano just as long as I don't go spend-crazy between now and Winchestercon or in Nashville.

Just not in 8 gb *and* pink. The 4's the only one in a choice of colours, apparently.

have to say, i love my nano. had it for a year, use it for music, lectures, everything. it's great, especially on days when i have a lot of walking to do and want to carry as little as possible.

totally worth the inconvenience of eating ramen for two weeks.

Well, I'm set for grilled cheese sandwiches for a week, so I've got that going for me. :)

Green to go with your layout, maybe? ;)

I bought myself a 30GB iPod for my birthday, because no one else was going to. I want a Nano now, too, maybe next year.
