That's it. I'm getting the cat a muzzle.

Oh, my GOD. It's very nice that the cat likes me, but I went to bed at two o'clock and I swear to God he yowled at the top of his lungs for three straight hours trying to get me to pay attention to him. And I caught the Wincon plague and wanted sleep like crazy, so needless to say, NOT HAPPY. *whimpers*

I don't know why I keep reading Lost reactions. The more I read, the happier I am that I got out of the show. The apathy that I feel reading the storylines anymore is so annoying I just ... I can't even. ARGH. "Complicated" doesn't always equal "interesting," you know what I mean? I'd feel more guilty about saying that, but every time I express my annoyance with Lost, someone always says, "You should start watching it again! It's getting really good!" And, well ... no, no it's not.

Speaking of shows that annoy the pants off me, Jericho is going to have to pull off a miracle to get me to start watching again. Like create a spinoff called "Dale the Magnificent" where Dale calls everyone on their stupidity, stomps out of town, and heads off to rule the world.

Okay, so. Hiro fic and MIT AU today, Books of Boggs work sometimes this weekend. *cracks knuckles*

MAN, I feel you on the Lost thing. The only reason I'm still watching (and I am taking a long time to catch up...haven't seen any of this season yet) is because one of my co-workers is OBSESSED and asks me 20 times a day if I've watched it yet. It's easier to watch it to shut him up, and tell him I didn't like it.

Yeah. Lost, man. It is so aggravating.

I think we need to start a support group for people who hate what they did to Lost. I gave up sometime early last season after having loved season one.

I tried to watch the second season, but no. And the recaps aren't making me sorry that I gave it up.

Thanks, I'll just watch Ghost Hunters and contemplate Dean/Jason and Sam/Grant. Or, Mythbusters. Either will frustrate me considerably less than another JJ Abrams show. (yes, I'm still bitter about the end of Alias.)

Once I realized last season that instead of actually watching the episodes, I was fast-forwarding through the majority of it to get to something non-annoying (which I rarely found), I gave up on it. And despite the people I like who are in it, nothing has inclined me to try it again.

arrrgh! feel bettah!

Your kitty just became an only child, right? He's lonely. Noooo no no no, I'm not gonna recommend getting another cat, but get him a toy or something. Just make sure, it's a quiet one. *G* He'll eventually learn that it's okay to let "mommy" sleep.

and never, ever, ever put a marble in the bathtub. Soooo not amusing at 3 am.

I feel similarly about Jericho, also.

And, your cat, annoying yet quite sweet.

Lost's wheels are completely off the bus. I think I'm only still watching it so a)I can continue to complain about it and b)I have a slim chance to see more half naked, sweaty Sawyer.

[identity profile] wrenlet.livejournal.com 2006-10-19 09:44 pm (UTC)(link)
We got half-naked Desmond, and yes I AM totally shallow enough to tune in for that.

SO with you on Lost. I tried watching the first 2 episodes this season, just to see if it improved and... it hadn't. If the writers would just conclusively finish ONE damn storyline without throwing off 4 or 5 new loose threads, I could deal with it. But they don't. Hell, they brought back Boone to be Locke's "spirit guide", so even the dead people don't get completed storylines.

*laughs* you're little chinchilla of doom must be luvin his new friend...he's probably ploting of ways to flush it down the toilet

Oh, you should have seen it. It was the funniest thing EVER. I held up the cat to the cage so they could meet, and Emmett came running up to the side of the cage all curious, and the cat (and his nasty-ass breath) meowed, and Emmett immediately hopped backward and rubbed at his nose. I died laughing. :)

*laughs* omfg that is so cute *snorts* i totally wish you had gotten that on video luv, cause that is way too priceless

I got so fed up with Lost about halfway through last season and have given up entirely. It's a shame. It started out so good.

At least now I have Heroes to take my Lost-ish love.

I am totally watching Jericho for Dale. ... and Jake, 'cause I'm a sucker. A sucker who would love some Stanley/Jake high school action. I'm just saying.
