I keep trying to make myself feel better by telling myself that at least we know the secret is coming, unlike with Lost where they would hint that the answer was coming and the next thing you'd know everyone would be distracted by a dinosaur or a giant bowl of pudding or something, but with our luck they'll open the next episode on Sam's woobieface and cut to Dean juuuuuust as he spots a shiny object out of his line of sight and scampers off after it.

i am now totally expecting that shiny object to totally pop up in haunted. i think that if id ever watched lost it would have driven me so crazy id have broken my tv or something.

all i know is that haunted must open up right after the lake scene or soon after. sams wearing the same clothes when they get to the roadhouse to talk to ash.

I'm still kinda flyin' on the fact that we're getting the revelation NOW. Halfway through the season he's gonna tell us? On one hand, doing it this way is like giving that EQ test with the MnMs and the bell to fandom--can you handle it? CAN YA? On the other hand, it means a smoother transistion into the Sammy-arc-half of the season.

Yeah. There aren't words in the English language to describe how incredibly much I HATE THAT. Because it puts thoughts into my head that I really don't want there. I have never been one to speculate, before this show. And I still don't do much speculation. Execpt in this case. Because really, there is only one good way for Kripke have this shit pan out. AND I HATE IT.

I can't remember, either, although I'm pretty sure he wasn't. It does make you wonder, though -- yeah, Sam said he was immune (and obviously, he was), but when Demon Boy was talking to the Demon, he didn't say "Sam", he said "the Winchester boy." And Dean didn't catch the virus, either, even though how he could have lugged a bleeding body into the Impala and not gotten any blood on him seems a little odd.

It's entirely possible the Demon already knew Sam was immune and the cut on his chest was a bluff, but on the other hand, Dean ... well. *shrugs*
