He has this little catnip-filled cow toy that he's been flinging around the apartment for the past two hours and it's the cutest thing I've seen since the otters holding hands.

Meanwhile the chins are currently chewing the shreds the cardboard roll I put in there. Yeah, that won't last long.

Okay, so maybe buying season two of Project Runway was a bad idea, because I have spent the entire night rewatching episodes. I have an excuse, though! They're extended! There's scenes I totally haven't seen before. That DOES count as an excuse, yes?

I was supposed to start on my Bigbang fic but I can do that when I wake up. I've tricked myself into making a commitment, though, because if I don't write my current idea I'm pretty sure poisontaster and txtequilanights will come to my house and smother me in my sleep. ;) (Okay, maybe not smothering, but definitely there would be withholding of goodies, and that I cannot deal with.)

EDIT: I miss Project Runway. Although rewatching episodes has reminded me how much I hated Marla's bony, bitchy model.

See, THIS is why I told people -- because it's so good and it has to be written, and it's 20,000 words of J2 which is really damn long, and I've only got four weeks and now there will be people poking me all, "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" *grins*

Top Chef was an okay fix in the first season but was killing me in the second, and Top Design is apparently judged by untrained monkeys so it's torture to watch. God help me, I'm actually thinking of watching Shear Genius even though I haaaaaate the way anything involving hair's got to be "Shear" whatever. Seriously, THIS is how much Bravo's creative reality shows have me by the short hairs.

I remembered Cara's complete lack of facial expression and scary sternum and completely forgot the bony shoulders that could take someone's eye out. Thank God I'm almost done with the Banana Republic episode and I won't have to see her anymore after this.

I just watched Road to Runway and Clothes Off Your Back yesterday and oh god, I missed these people! Chloe and her kickass COYB dress! Nick and his general awesomeness! DanV and his early suckitude and later resurgence! Such a great season.

Watching Road to Runway reminded me how much one hour of Heidi Standridge was enough to make me want to shove straight pins into my eyeballs. I mean, perky's nice, but that girl needed to lay off the caffeine and sunshine.

The whole Nina-Santino showdown over the lingerie and Andrae's complete breakdown are in the extras. I desperately want to watch both but I figure I'll need more Smirnoff first. :)
