Random things
-- I got to leave work early last night! And not, like, ridiculously early so it's not like it'll be a huge dent to my paycheck.
-- Speaking of paychecks, I left work and went straight to the grocery store to buy seventy bucks worth of groceries. Oh, thank God. As I said yesterday at work, I didn't have any FOOD left, I just had parts of food. Somehow I wasn't looking forward to trying to make cereal with iced tea and instant mashed potato flakes.
-- I'm tempted to take a break from working on the novel to write some fic, but every time I think about it, I'm all, "Noooooooooo! Don't doooooooo it! Book first, fic later!" Hopefully I'll loosen up soon enough so that I can still finish my![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
spn_j2_bigbang fic, although I suppose that would require starting it in the first place. Le sigh.
-- I'm going to miss the Make Me A Supermodel finale tonight, but I can't really seem to summon much enthusiasm about it anyway. I don't know ... once Ben started irritating me and Ronnie and Shannon had that judging-table bitchfest, the shine kind of faded. I think the "Bronnie" shirts may have been a nail in that coffin, 'cause it's one thing for the two of them to be all flirty and playful with another, and it's another thing for them to be all, "Well, we really don't feel THAT way about each other, but look, we have T-shirts!" And considering the way the boys have been treating the girls, I'm sorta hoping Holly wins, and possibly follows it up by smacking them all upside the head.
-- Also, I haven't yet watched last night's Top Chef either. I'm downloading it now so hopefully I'll get to watch it before work.
-- Also also, is it too much to ask that at least one of my viable gay TV romances have a normal relationship AND a happy ending? SHEESH. I really have to catch up with Brothers and Sisters, so I can at least root for Kevin and Scotty. Of course, that would require me trying to pull myself away from my writing right now, and nooooooooooo.
EDIT: Oh, and you know what I think I'm going to do on my next four days off? I think I'm going to have a marathon of the first season of Veronica Mars. It's been so freaking long since I've watched or read fic or anything and I was being all nostalgic about it yesterday.

I'm in the same situation though. I think I have a couple cans of soup and a 3 year old can of sour kraut in the cupboard; but that's the extent of the food in my house. Which reminds me; I need to clean out my cupboards.
I don't even have an excuse. I've just been too lazy to go to the store.
