And now for the new slogan:

GOP 2008: The Change You Deserve

I suppose pointing out that voting for a Republican this year ISN'T change would just be silly, right?

That's not really a motto, though, so much as what you'll be getting in your paycheck the next few years if they have anything to do with it.

Perhaps it's nasty snark. The change we deserve being no change.

And have you been clued that "Change You Deserve" is also the slogan for Effexor? PLAGIARISM FTW.

Well, maybe it's supposed to be ironic that they stole a motto for depression medication.

The irony BURNS.
And the folks who don't get it? Should.

Whichever PR person came up with that needs to be smacked upside the head.

Word.

It's right up there with "Nothing Sucks Like An Electrolux."

I mean, really. People get PAID to think this shit up. Or, in this case, steal it and use it badly.

Yeah, see, it works for a depression medication. It sucks for a party whose president has an entire nation up in arms while he carts around a seventy-percent disapproval rating.

Wow. Just... wow.

Okay! So Election 2008 will be a big quiz on who is actually paying attention!
