Bwahahahaha!

Otis: *sits on my footrest and stares at me*
Me: "Hey, there. What do you want? You want to play fetch with your cow?"
Otis: *looks over at his stuffed cow when I say the word "cow"*
Me: "Well, bring it over here."
Otis: *glares*
Me: "Okay, fine, fine, I'll get it." *gets it, throws it across the apartment*

Five minutes later ...

Otis: *jumps onto the couch and drops the cow in my lap*
Me: "... wow, way to listen."

You have a Siamese dog.

Hee! One of our cats sometimes likes to play fetch. Thing is, though, she "grades" us on our throws. If we throw it in a fun way so she gets a lot of chasing out of it, we get a pass and she drops the toy right at our feet for another throw... but if it was teh FAIL then she drops is a ways off- the worse the fail, the further away. And then she me-yowls at us to throw it.

So we reach toward it and can't grab it, so say "Can't reach!" and she yowls again, and we do that again. Then she plays with it and "accidentally" knocks it close enough for us to throw so we can repeat the process.

Cats!

I have a dog that is cat sized (does that count) and She loves for me to throw things for her but bringing it back? total fail on her part...sigh.

She likes to come up to me when I am doing something (i.e. not paying attention to her) and she will sit up on her hind legs and look at me expectantly. Which ends up with me noticing and asking her (out loud) "what? you must learn English Sadie I have no idea what you want!!!!!!)

Sorry, just thought I would share.
