Oddly, I had a knee-jerk visceral response to this. Apparently most women (and many men) have a visceral "Omg, must help/something is wrong!" response when a baby cries. I have this same response to animals that exhibit distress. I watched this and all I could feel was intense hatred for the person holding the camera who was not working to alleviate this puppy's discomfort. It's an odd response, I know. But man was it ever knee-jerk and all-compassing. In short, this video bothered me. In other news, I do have a knee-jerk response to when babies cry, but it's more along the lines of "give me a pillow to smother that fucking thing." I hate babies.
