I totally agree!

She's already said in press that her persona on The Simple Life was just a character, but I think that was when she was just getting famous...now I think she lets people assume she's dumb.

I mean, why wouldn't you? You can get away with so much more when people think you have no idea what they're talking about.

There also the fact that I believe she has a lot of say in her own finances. Managing money isn't exactly something you do when you're an airhead, even with advisors.

Indeed. And I mean, her sister designs and manages a clothing line, too...pretty much she's grown up around very capable people her whole life. I don't think "airhead rich girl" is all she's expected to be, not by the people who actually hold her responsible. (now, "party girl"? well...)
