I may be getting way too much enjoyment out of watching the American basketball team kick Spain's ass by something like thirty-five points.

In other news, I'm almost done with the first chapter of The Hollow Girl, which is awesome. I haven't gotten to put much of a dent in The Grand Prize Winner this weekend, which sucks, but on the other hand getting another story started more than makes up for it.

I have to work tonight. If I'm lucky, I'll get that bonus and there'll be overtime for next week too. If I'm not, it'll just be another crappy week at work and I'll have to find a way to scrape together a couple hundred bucks out of thin air in the next few weeks. *sigh*

EDIT: *squeals* YAY! I'm finally seeing Olympic badminton! That took long enough! SCORE.

Not so amusing from this side. It's not like I ever expected Spain to win, though. I actually thought they'd kick our asses much, much harder.

Yup! Usually I can't write with the TV on in the background but the Olympics is weirdly helpful. I think it's making me energetic. :)

I was shocked that they're showing badminton now of all times. Last time the Olympics came around, I had to wake up at like 3am to watch it--and they replaced it with volleyball. I was so pissed.
