This is GENIUS.

From [livejournal.com profile] cambler, here:

McCain wants to postpone the debate until next week, and just push off the VP debate.

How about a compromise? Switch them.

Do the VP debate on Friday. The venue is prepared and all is good to go. Then, do the big debate next week in the VP debate's time slot - also prepared.

And then, you see, we'll get to see if the VP candidates are, indeed, ready to take over on a moment's notice.

Discuss. AND SHARE!

Oh yeah, a couple of weeks ago there'd have been no problem, but now that Sarah Palin's fairydust is wearing off, they're afraid to have her face Biden who will make caribou hash out of her.

If I had to bet it's pretty moot - nothing will change, first debate will take place on Friday, same time, same place.

Otherwise it's a pretty good idea.

I can hear Biden chomping at the bit all the way in Texas.

Have you seen the clips from the Katie Couric interview with her? Part 2 airs tonight and I can't wait to see the reaction tomorrow. Palin is digging herself a hole in the snow and it's not for an igloo. Though, if it were, she could see Russia from it.

Bwahaha! that would be amazing.
