La, la, la ...
-- Oh, Sam's FACE when Dean was telling him God didn't want him to use his powers. Oh, the wibbling. Oh, the punching and the hurty boys and the ouchies.
-- Heeee, the boys bursting into that woman's apartment. *snickers*
-- Otherwise, I'm a wee bit meh on the episode. I didn't hate it, but ... *shrugs* On the other hand, that's the least I've enjoyed an episode all season and I still liked it better than most of season three.
-- You know what? I give up on commenting on the women's issues. I've got enough to worry about right now, damn it. Fire bad, Winchesters pretty! \o/
Now I get to watch Never Mind the Buzzcocks and go back to work on The Hollow Girl and then it's bedtime for me.

This is doubly funny to me, since I *just* watched the Buffy 3rd season finale while walking before Supernatural.
And yeah, as I said elsejournal, this is the Meh episode of the year, so far. Still, even meh Supernatural has its moments, as you pointed out. It's kinda the episode they HAD to do, and it's ok enough for what it is, just nothing special, and now we can trudge forward.
The "to be continued" from last week seems doubly odd now, though. I didn't think we needed it last week any more than any other week, and it didn't really lead into this week's much either, any more than any other thread in other episodes.
Ah well.

*This* moment made the hour worthwhile for me. There's a reason in fanfic I tend towards the "kick the Sam-puppy" side of the fence. Jared really wrote the hurt-comfort book, and it's a beautiful thing to watch in motion!
Otherwise, like you said - even at "meh" levels, still more enjoyable than the majority of S3.

Also, I loved the 'Sam loves research. He keeps under his mattress next to his KY.'
