In a television appearance that outraged Democrats are already describing as Joseph McCarthy politics, Minnesota Rep. Michelle Bachmann claimed on Friday that Barack Obama and his wife Michelle held anti-American views and couldn't be trusted in the White House. She even called for the major newspapers of the country to investigate other members of Congress to "find out if they are pro-America or anti-America."

Oh, good! I less-than-three blatant McCarthyism!

(The great bit is that her Democratic opponent has had overwhelming contribution numbers since the Hardball segment in question aired. Good.)

WTF does that even mean, anti-America? Well, whatever the dingbats who use words like "anti-America" to describe Presidential candidates think it means, of course, but really. Substantively, I'd love to know what she means so I can laugh and laugh and then possibly punch something.

She means, white, claiming to revere Jesus, and hating anyone who's skin is darker than loose leaf paper.

America is a melting pot. Some people feel that as soon as they got into the pot (so to speak) the soup was done and the lid should have covered it up to prevent contamination.
