Meme jacked from ye olde friends list ...
Recommend To Me:
1. A movie.
2. A book.
3. A musical artist, song, or album.
4. An LJ user not on my friends list.
5. Something to do in the next two months; something daring or adventuresome.
As for that second one, I just finished reading Seabiscuit today and loved every page of it. Couldn't recommend it enough, and the same goes for the movie. (And just so you know, my horse racing knowledge and interest before reading the book and seeing the movie was, "Fire bad, horse pretty." So if it's not your thing, just give it a chance, damn it.)
Also, picked up ink for my printer today, so that I might actually print out some of the story prep I've already got done. And just for added measure, I've got chapter after chapter of the novel
qnotku and her partner-in-crime finally handed over to their agent popping up in my email. I've decided to take it as a taunt. It isn't, but my inner writer promptly has a tantrum and spits out some fucked-up story idea when I do.
Oh, and today's brilliant idea from Captain Asshat: He bought Aqua Teen Hunger Force on DVD (hey, he can't be tasteless all the time) and was so eager to watch it at work that he plans to go home tonight and find out how to get the work computers to play DVDs. Uh, there's a reason they can't, dumbass.
Dude! Mr. Holland's opus just came on the Live365 film score channel I love! *squees* Ooo, and now Rain Man music! *happy dances*
