Blah, blah, blah.

I ran out at seven in the morning to get the free turkey I was due from work for Thanksgiving. It wasn't like I needed it -- I always end up giving it to my mom anyway, and my brother and I both got free turkeys this year so I could hold off until the last minute -- so I figured I'd run down today and get it out of the way. I also picked up a bunch of groceries while I was there so if I get the two-week layoff today I won't have to leave my apartment until then. Now it's just a matter of sitting around today waiting for a phone call. *sigh*

Speaking of waiting around today, where the hell is the mailman? I want stuffies. *grumbles*

Oh, and why was I not informed about Survivors? It's post-apocalyptic! There's a plague! That's my favorite kind of apocalypse! *waits impatiently for the first two episodes to download*

In other news, writing is currently like pulling teeth, I swear to God. (Although perhaps I'm not in the right position to make jokes about pulling teeth right now. Urgh.) I think if I do get the two-week layoff I'll spend the rest of the day sketching out the Dead Men In Dark Suits rewrite and/or working on the next chapter of The Hollow Girl, which I realized today I haven't even looked at in a couple of weeks. And I haven't even started my Yuletide story yet.
