Happy last day of Bush's presidency!

A few things --

1. I signed up for [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang. As per usual, I'm writing RPS. Hopefully, I can finish on time this year.
2. I'm still working on GPW and my next novel idea. Both are coming along. Not quickly, but they're coming.
3. I am currently listening to the Renaissance music channel on AOL Radio. I'm definitely not intellectual enough for this.
4. I'm hungry. Somebody come to my house and make me a sammich.
5. I have to straighten up before my dad and the landlord show up tonight to swap out the dryers. Which they were supposed to do the other night and didn't, and now they're doing it tonight. Urgh.
6. I haven't showered yet. I should probably get on that.

EDIT: Special Ops: How to move two presidents in six hours. A few "make your own Bush joke here" quotes ...

-- Books on the Oval Office shelves will be changed per the new commander in chief ...
-- Following tradition, Bush is expected to leave a personal letter written to Obama.

There's also a comment at the end about how Bush doesn't want his staffers playing any practical jokes on the incoming administration because relations have been so cordial between them, which ... on one hand, that's a nice gesture, but on the other hand, I'm disappointed in Bush. If there's one thing you'd think he'd jump at the chance to do, it's play a practical joke on someone, and I'm pretty sure Obama could handle it.

Then again, Rahm IS the chief of staff. Bush would never see the retaliation coming. Heh.

Hey, it was one sweet practical joke when he mischievously told them that the presidential hotel across the street from the White House was full, there was "no room at the inn" (get it?), and the president-elect and his family would have to scrounge for digs elsewhere. It cost the American taxpayer a HUGE chunk of money to bring the other hotel up to the same level of security! WHAT A HOOT!

It is totally fear of Rahm. Best pick for chief of staff EVAH.

Hee- I think Bush is just feeling defensive about this Onion article.

See, what I'd have 'em do is pull a cute -- leave collections of coins on all the desks.

Did Bush ever find out what happened to the pet goat?
