In case you were wondering ...

... the fact that Life After People is now a series makes me giddy in my PANTS.

This Tuesday, they're destroying Washington, D.C. Someone in scheduling at the History Channel loves me and wants me to be happy.

EDIT: Aw, they scared me. They made me think they were going to kill of the Queen's corgis. But they escaped the palace and now they're gleefully raiding empty London! \o/

Hee! I'm so glad to hear that. I saw the bit about the dogs being trapped in the palace and drinking out of the toilets and then digging through the kitchens and the ominous voice of "soon, the dogs will have a harder time of it" and I couldn't watch anymore. Because, doggies!

I [heart] Life After People.

It's interesting, because it seems like humans have finally developed the ability to care about what would happen to the rest of the world if after we destroy ourselves. A "we're not the only ones on the planet, guys!" realization that's waaay overdue.

(I've always wanted to ask a Christian eschatologist what would happen to the Mars rovers and the Voyager probes after Armageddon...)

Last week they destroyed Boston! I hadn't realized that the Constitution would sink so fast, but, you know, bilge pumps.

(I'm from Boston -- and, more immediately, from Metaquotes.)
