Heh.

I think I may just give my mom a link to my wishlist when my birthday rolls around and let her shop off that for Christmas, too. The "Add to wish list" widget where you can pretty much add anything on the internet is going to kill me, though. I keep reminding myself of books I don't have or lost somewhere along the way (I used to have almost the entire Bridgerton series but I keep losing them when I move).

I added a DS to my list, too. What games for that are worth adding to the list? I'm more into puzzles and classic games, so what would I like? (Of course, I've already added Scribblenauts. Heh.)

I wish I had a job already so I could shop again. I'm such a child, I swear. Mail makes me happy and shopping makes me happy, so shopping on the internet gives me something to look forward to. :)

In other news, I fell asleep on the couch last night and would have stayed there the entire night, except the chinchillas decided to use their cage like a bouncy castle and were so loud jumping around I stomped blearily into my bedroom and closed the door, which I didn't realize until five in the morning when Otis started screaming at my door. Bah. *yawns*

But this entry from Not Always Right made my morning complete:

(I’m shopping in a video game store, and an older, overweight, bald man comes into the store alone and proceeds to ask the greatest question I have ever heard.)

Customer: “Do you have the singing game that lets YOU be the star?”

Professor Layton and the Curious Village is a brilliant logical puzzle game!

Yeah, every time I've seen the commercial where they're playing it, all I can think is how right up my alley that is. :D

It has adorable animation as well and really interesting characters an d sometimes the puzzles are really quite hard.I put mine back on the shelf as I was stuck on a level but I might pick it up again this weekend.

I just wanted to say good luck with the job fair. I'm stuck job hunting as well, haven't been employed since January and I'm starting to panic a bit as well as wondering where my friends are getting all their amazing jobs from, heh.

Also the second Layton game is coming out in August - Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box or something like that.
