Damn.

One of the kids Bryan graduated with got into a motorcycle accident yesterday and died. A girl (I think it was his girlfriend) was riding on the back and isn't expected to make it. Neither one of them were wearing helmets.

Supposedly my brother just talked to the guy the other day. I'm about to give him a call and see how he's doing.

That is horrible. My aunt just found out that a great friend of hers got into a motorcycle accident and is paralyzed from the neck down. So tragic. :(

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that.

I remember my driver's ed instructor telling us he wouldn't be teaching us 'motorcycle safety' because it wasn't a class on science fiction.

I am so sorry. The sudden death of friend is horrible to endure, and I feel for their families, who will grieve for the rest of their lives.

And angry, too. Freaking idiots. Riding without a helmet is begging to die.

Damn. I'm so sorry. My son rides a bike, and insists he's careful and probably safer than in a car. Doesn't make it any less worrisome for me.

Even with a helmet, arms, legs, and necks aren't made of steel.
